What's on your plate today?

Kyle and I will be prepping for whatever the storm brings. Last I looked we are expecting quite a bit of ice. Ice in the trees makes for downed power lines. We went to town yesterday to fill up the gas jugs for the generator, as well as kerosene to heat with should we need it. Kyle heats with electric and I heat with propane, but if the power goes out, we will both be without heat. Today our plans are to wrap the outside faucets and try to start the generator. If we're lucky, it will skip us altogether.

Jan, stay safe! Hopefully it won't be too bad!

I was up early today and have some laundry done and pulled some weeds. Taking a break and then need to clean the bathrooms that I never did earlier this week. Might even have some time for scrapping this afternoon.

We’re preparing for the winter storm. It won’t get as bad here, but still, we’re not used to it. The stores probably already ran out of toilet paper, milk, bread, eggs, and cabbage and probably cilantro.

We are all prepped for the storm. My neighbor fell and broke her hip last night so I've been tracking that all day. Had a luncheon at my house today and managed to drop a container of tomato basil soup on my garage floor and scatter it so I have a very pretty stain until after the freeze. No matter where you live, stay warm and take care.
