SQOTD January 26, 2026

Would you scrapbook a winter storm day, and what would you include: photos, journaling, or weather-themed embellishments?

Something must be wrong with me, because I’ve missed a lot of photo opportunities to document the crazy weather we’re having. Maybe I’m being affected by the lower temperatures

Yes, all of the above. I've taken some photos of the birds and feeders, but it's through the glass so not sure how those will turn out. DH will take some photos when he goes out.

I do take photos of the weather and like to document these occurrences. I would include photos, journaling, and weather-themed embellishments?

There are photos of the outside taken when I was a kid so it is fun to compare: since I live in the same house. We did get much more snow then.

I usually do, but this time I didn't bother. I have sooooooo many crazy weather pics that have not been scraped yet. I use photos, winter papers, and embellies, and journaling.

Of course I do! haha and I scrap usually with blues and add snowflakes or rain boots. There is all kinds of embellishments out there. And don't forget fall and leaves pics.

I did this one several years ago. It’s based on the weather quilt concept. There’s 31 strips, one or each day in January. The color of the strip is based on the temperature of the day. I wanted to do one for each month that year, but I couldn’t keep up.
