Random QOTD: Saturday, August 25, 2018

Do you ever have trouble getting to sleep and/or staying asleep? If so, what do you do when it happens?

I'm not a very good sleeper; never have b een. I hate lying there in the dark when I can't sleep, so I get up and watch tv for a while. Sometimes I fall asleep in the recliner :oops:

funny you should ask, this just happened last night but I am sure it is because I had so much in my head going on. lol I just layed there and finally fell asleep. Usually I just get back on my phone which I know is not a good idea because of the light screen stuff they talk about getting away from so your brain can settle in to a nice long sleep. My DH has a hard time as well but he usually takes a quarter of a sleeping pill if it happens to him. :o

I play on my Ipad until my eyes get tired, and then I usually fall asleep at that point within 15 minutes or so....my problem now is the numerous times I get up to go to the bathroom, and I believe the beginning of menopause as I've been waking up sweating....

I usually sleep well, if I don't it's because of the kids. They still come to my bed if they have nightmares or wake up at night.
If it's really bad, like all three in my bed, I go to one of the kids beds and sleep there.

I'm usually tired enough no problem; very few times do I wake up and then can't go back to sleep
