6 x 6 Paper & Embellishment Swap *CLOSED*

I thought it was time that we hosted another swap here at Cookin' up Creations as it's been quite some time since the last one . . .

Anyone that wants to play along can . . .

The idea (in my head) is this. . . .

Each person that signs up will be randomly paired up with another person - this way, only one envelope / package will need to be mailed.

You will include 6 (six) sheets of 6 x 6 paper (either cut or from a paper pad) with a theme, monochromatic, etc

You will also include enough embellishments to coordinate with the papers to create a layout with.

Ideas for embellishments include :
- Wooden shapes, Flair, Chipboard pieces
- Letter Stickers for the title, and / or machine cut title
- Gems, Pearls, Sequins or enamel dots, buttons, mini brads, eyelets (just make sure the person you send to still has an eyelet setter)
- Bakers Twine, jute or ribbon
- Phrase stickers , journaling spots, ephemera, or die cut pieces
- Miscellaneous - just be fair in what you send (flowers, washi tape, acrylic pieces)!

*Again, all embellishments MUST COORDINATE. Please send at least 6 (six) different types of embellishments! An example would be a cut title (1), ephemera pieces / die cuts (2), bakers twine (3) enamels dots (4) misc journaling spots (5) and a mixture of sequins and buttons.

When you sign up, you will post what types of layouts that you anticipate working on, what embellishments you like and/or dislike. Your partner will take this information and curate a mini kit just for you. *Please only send items that you would use in your own scrapbooks.

Each person that signs up, will then be required to take the embellishment kit and create a layout with the items received. You can even send your partner pictures to help curate the kit, or you could let it all be a total surprise. . . .that's entirely up to you and your partner.

What does everyone think? Is anyone interested?

Sign ups will begin tonight, and end on Monday May 25th, at which time I will assign partners. Kits should be mailed no later than Wednesday June 10th (as we're pulling from our stash) and our layouts should be posted by July 1st.

I'm game! I'm pretty open to anything. I scrap everyday events mostly and of course holidays. I do not care for those old style paper people but other than that, I can make most things work!

Sounds like fun! I'm in!
I'll be working on fall or beach layouts and of course Disney ones and they're all girly.

I'm game. I scrap mostly every day type photos of my new grandson Kian who is almost one. I love primary colors. Eyelets and brads are okay but don't care for the shaped ones.
