When you take vacations, do you use a travel agent or book everything yourself?

We do it ourselves - but we don't go on fancy vacations!

We mostly only do day or weekend trips, so no need for a travel agent!

I book everything myself online.

our vacations are usually working ones with Kids Around the World and they take care of it for us.

don't have many planned. DH job is crazy right now and disappearing real fast. He did tell me today he wants to do the Durango to Silverton train so I pinned him down and asked him if he was going to take a vacation between jobs and he said yes so maybe there is one in our near future. We usually just book ourselves.

We've used a travel agent once and that was when we went took Kyle to Disneyland. We got a package that included breakfast and dinner with the characters. Other "vacations" if you call them that, have either been road trips - where we stop when we get tired, beach trips - where we stay at my parents house, camping trips - where we call ahead to reserve a spot or job related - where the company makes the reservations for us.
