Siblings.

Do you have any siblings or are you an only child. Where are you in the pecking order of the family?

I am the oldest of 5 children, (technically 6)

I have three brothers and a sister.....My sister gave birth right after high school, and my parents raised Ike as their own even though they were deathly ill, and ultimately passed away leaving Ike parentless at an early age. My sister chose to have nothing to do with him, or even acknowledge that he was hers. To this day I am still unable to forgive my sister, as my parents had it rough during their last years (cancer & sickness, etc). Ike had a tough go of it, but ultimately the rest of us helped raise Ike and now he's 21 and doing great.....

I have 3 older sisters - I am the baby.

My Mom and Dad raised my niece and nephew from the time they were about 5 and 3. My sister that is closest to me in age had my nephew when she was 15 - turned 16 a couple of weeks later. She took care of them - just not very well and then the choices she made with men were not the best, so ultimately my Mom and Dad fought for custody of them and got them.

I have two older sisters. One lives here and one lives in Texas most of the year and comes back to PA in the summer for a few weeks.

My brothers are in the middle and my sister is the youngest.

So far you all have larger families than me. I have one younger brother, five years younger. We were kind of far apart in age so we are not super-close. I am the oldest child,and fairly typical of what they say about Kid Number One.

I have an older brother , I am next, then an adopted sister but I don't talk to her, she is off the wall, writes threatening letters. Really messed up .

I tell people I'm an only child, and it's true I was the only child in our household. BUT... my parents lost two babies after me.Bonnie was born about 11 months after me, very prematurely, and lived only an hour. Laurie was born the following year, again prematurely, and lived five days. I don't recall any of it, but my parents told me briefly about them and we put flowers or wreaths on their graves for holidays.
