Cookin' Up Creations

I have a Silhouette with a ton of files. Some are in my library. Some are my own personal designs in my library. I think that if I were to go to another computer, I could find the Silhouette ones no problem, but what about my personal designs/vinyl quotes/etc? Should I be backing these up some where? My computer is around 4-5 years old and I know that it won't last forever. My greatest fear is that it will crash and I will be lost. Anyone ever back up files? Should I be backing up my personal files or all of them?

Yes...any that are not silhouette files I also keep in a doc file on my computer. I upgraded to version 4 and lost everything that was not a silhouette. I am in the process of reloading them. I'm sure if I would have taken time to read I would have found an easier way to do it. Silhouette School has some great tutorials on all of this.
