Baking today and cutting out squares of fabric to stitch into dog bandanas for the markets.

My phone died yesterday; we were kind of due for replacing both of ours anyway and we need to change carriers for various reasons, so Mike is out comparing plans, phones and prices.We need to get 'er done ASAP. I had an evaluation yesterday with a nurse practitioner at a local orthopedic center, and he is recommending hip replacement surgery on my left hip. He forwarded all my info and x rays to the orthopedic surgeon and is pushing to get me on the schedule as soon as possible. The whole thing scares me, but hopefully it will help considerably with mobility and reducing pain.
