9/11 SHORT STRAWS

Join us all month long as we play our version of the Emmy Award-winning series show Survivor! The ultimate goal is the same - to Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast . . and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor..
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
If I remember correctly on Survivor they are often backed into a corner with the challenges and the group will draw straws to see who gets the smallest one and wins whether it is immunity or extra points for a challenge or just a free pass to not be eliminated. So our challenge for today is this sketch from Page maps. AND your challenge is to use uneven strips of paper, straws, any embellishment that you want to give the appearance. Different sizes or lengths. (I realize I was sticking to the pink theme and used a stripe pattern paper that is hard to see on the sample. But under the family photo (which is the last one I took of Kenadee and her parents and she is so in love with this one. I literally cried for her when I found it. I had taken her to the hospital to see her mom and her Dad always came everyday on his lunch hour. I LOVE that they are all three smiling big smiles. Carrie passed away just two weeks later.)
