Join us all month long as we post challenges based on the exclusive and often trend-setting designs that we call Fashion.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing)
Hi everyone. Please excuse my tardiness posting this. I had Covid last week, and my brain and body are not working in tandem yet.
For this project, I knew exactly what picture I wanted to use. My daughter went to Madrid, Spain last November for work, and one of her co-workers took this picture of her. The minute I saw it, I thought, "She looks like a runway model!" So I decided to go with that theme for this project. My challenge to you is to create a project where your subject matter is dressed up. Maybe it's for a formal dance? Or maybe for a holiday pageant? For your added twist, create "runways" on your project. I have 2 long pieces of paper transversing this project like a runway. I'm excited to see how you all interpret this challenge!
