What is an unusual thing non scrapbook "tool" you have use?

I've traced plates to make circles.

I use a dental scaler to pic up enamel dots and jewels and I also have a hemostat to lift a small item with glue and put it in its proper place on the layout:P

I’ve used bubble wrap to stamp.

I use a jumbo thumb tack to punch holes for brads and the like. I also use a clear glass cutting board that I picked up second hand when I use my distress inks and oxides.
