NATIONAL HAIR DAY

QUESTIONS: ( yes, I have lots of questions!)

What’s your favorite hair accessory, clips, scrunchies, headbands, or something else?
Do you enjoy experimenting with new haircuts, or do you stick to the same style?
What’s one hair tip or trick you swear by?
Do you have a favorite product that you just can’t live without for your hair?

You know that feeling when you walk out of the salon with a fresh cut, ready to take on the world? Or when your curls fall just right? That's the magic we celebrate on October 1 during National Hair Day! Today, we honor our hair in all its glory and give a huge shout-out to the stylists, products, and tools that help us express ourselves from the top down.

#NationalHairDay

Hair is so much more than just strands--it's our ultimate, everyday accessory! It’s a canvas for creativity, a reflection of our personality, and a powerful tool for self-expression. Whether you're rocking a bold new color, a chic bob, or wild, natural locks, your hair tells a unique story about who you are. Today is the day to let that story shine!

While we're celebrating, don't forget to give a round of applause for the wizards behind the chair! Our hairstylists are part artist, part therapist, and part magician, transforming our hair with a snip here and a color there. They are the experts who keep our manes magnificent and our confidence soaring. National Hair Day is the perfect opportunity to show them some love.

Memorable Hair Movie Moment

Christopher Reeves' Superman curl.
Jim Cary's role as Ace Ventura had a hair-raising style.
John Travolta's rebel style depicting that 1950s front flip.
Marge Simpson's unforgettable blue beehive (which also served as a storage system).
5 WAYS TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL HAIR DAY

During this fashionable observance, put your best style forward. Let no wind or storm hold you back and let your hair be your crowning glory. We have some recommendations on how to rock your best style:

1. Be Bold, Be Daring! if you've yeing a dramatic new cut or color, this is your sign to go for it!

2. Master a New 'Do! Fall down the rabbit hole of online hair tutorials to master that fishtail braid, learn how to create perfect beachy waves, or try a sleek, sophisticated updo for a night out.

3. Treat Your Tresses! Turn your bathroom into a luxury spa to allow yourself to indulge in a deep-conditioning hair mask or a nourishing new hair oil to give your locks the TLC they truly deserve.

4.Give a Shout Out Your Stylist! Post a glowing review for your favorite stylist or share a selfie from your last salon visit. Don't forget to tag them and let the world know who is responsible for your fabulous hair.

5. Show Off Your Look! This is the main event! Share your best hair day photos on social media using the hashtag #NationalHairDay!

I wish I had curly hair! I usually stick with the same hairstyle but sometimes I like to curl it. I’ve been wearing bangs since I was a year old. Hair accessories give me a headache, however when I cook I wear a hair clip. My hair trick is to take collagen everyday. My hair product is Olaplex No. 7 bonding oil; it’s gold in a bottle!

I have pretty much had the same haircut for years and don't plan on changing it. I don't ever pull it back or up in clips. Part of that is DH fault. I used to pull up the sides and he doesn't't care for that look on me because it gives me a puffier face look.
I'm not good at favorite products but I do only use Biology Shampoo. I don't use conditioners because the have never worked. My last haircut she gave me a deep conditioner because I had dry ends so I am thinking of incorporating it back into my routine.

I have way hair. It is often just a mess. I straightened it for maybe 20 years. Then when I retired that was it. I do not dry it. I let it air dry. It has gotten very thin over the years. It is often in a bun or a clip at the nape of my neck. I have not colored it in over a year. it is mostly gray now
