BIRTHDAY BASH CYBER CROP/MARCH 13-16TH: GOODBYES
Today I'm sharing a layout that I originally made several years ago of my youngest daughter Kristen and her friend Grace. The girls met as toddlers who attended the same day care home. They attended Gingerbread House Preschool together for two years; went to Safety Town bike safety training together; and played together. I took the photo in my layout on their last day of summer in 1993; they started kindergarten the next week.
Their friendship lasted through grade school, high school and beyond. After high school, their friendship continued. That all ended last fall, when Grace was driving home late at night on a country road. Rain had washed out a culvert; Grace's car hit the culvert, sending her flying out into the stream. She was found dead a short time later. It has been a real lesson to appreciate the people we love while they're here with us.
For this challenge, please create a layout that speaks of friendship, love and respect. Post your layout and commentary in the thread.
Creating memories, one page at a time.
