This is my first free Friday from school and I am loving the fact that I can scrap in the am. I am working on three more layouts today - a Senior Awards layout, dance layout (go figure) and finally a fun layout about the last week of school for dd. I have to get groceries, clean my porch off, sketch out a few more layouts tonight, finalize a few more graduation party plans (eta 9 days and counting) and finally work on a custom order.
I managed to purchase the flowers for the party last night, decorations are done, tablecloths and bolts of tulle arrived, and now I just need to purchase food items, gather all the table materials - trays, chaffing dishes, cake stands, etc. I have to paint the frame for her initial, and figure out a few more activities.
So...I want to make this fun for teenagers and kids alike. We will have a bounce slide, tubs filled with water and squirt guns, bubbles, we have a diamond for playing bookball - a combination of football, baseball, and kickball rules. Any other unique suggestions??
oh, Cassy - I wish I had some ideas for you but you have so many great plans already I can't think of anything else you could do! You could set up a smores bar with little cans of sterno.....you could do photobooth props; those are so popular in these days of Snapchat and Instagram!
I have a load of laundry going, and I have chicken cooked and ready to be made into chicken salad or used in a spinach salad. My blood pressure has been a bit higher than usual, so I'm cutting back on soda, caffeine and fats and drinking lots of water. And scrapping is always on my agenda. I plan to start a Project Life style book for a long-ago family vacation.
