I'm working (as usual) and then home to work on my scrap table (to eliminate those piles I mentioned earlier), as I have a band parent interested in coming over to learn how to scrapbook this evening while our kids are at band practice.
I'm waiting to get an authorization for an orthopedic consultation and evaluation of my left knee and hip. The X rays from last week show exactly what the physical therapist said and probably I'm headed for surgery. If so, then I want to get going and fix it so I can recover and get my life back. Other than that, I'm starting Halloween cards in between sessions of purging, sorting and storing scrap stuff. It's starting to actually look the way I hoped it would look, so that's encouraging.
It's been an emotional day. I got up early this morning to take 4 dogs to the vet in Hartsville. Came home to drop off three and pick up LoLa and took Frankie Whiz to meet his new family. I adopted out the little Dachshund today and have been feeling emotional ever since. I had him for at least 2 years maybe 3 but he was one of 13 dogs here and now he is one of three. I will miss him terribly but I know I can't keep them all.
