"Yabba-dabba-do!" was the famous catch phrase of Fred Flinstone. The expression of excitement was an improvisation by actor, Alan Reed, who voiced the character, back in 1960. The inspiration for the phrase came from Reed's mother's saying, "A little dab'll do ya!", which she likely borrowed from a Brylcreem commercial. (Brylcreem is a hair product known for creating a slicked back, shiny looking hairstyle.)

In addition to using the sketch below (from July 2024 PageMaps.com), please use an expression of excitement with an exclamation point on your layout, stitching (faux or real), and something that shines.

I used the full 2-page sketch, but you may use just one side or the other if you prefer! I also used small "Yay!" stickers (one on the lower left corner of the journaling block and one on the upper right plaid square on the left page of my layout.) One of my patterned papers has a stitched pattern and I added faux stitching with a fine tip black Sharpie to the solid pink, white, and green blocks on the layout. My shiny elements are the gold letters in my stickers and the plastic, colored dots next to the butterflies.

I can't wait to see your take on this challenge!

I used the left side of the sketch. The Simple Stories papers have "hand-drawn" stitching on them. The "Summer Lovin'!" chipboard came with the "!". My shiny items are the glitter enamel dots. Thanks for the sketch + challenge!
