The Initiation Well has nine levels, like Dante's Inferno, and it leads to different tunnels, finally into sunlight. Freemason initiates used it to symbolize a journey through purification and rebirth.

My hubby and I had a lot of fun at this tour while on vacation - the Sydney Bridge Climb, over the Sydney Harbor. They made you wear special suits with a bunch of buckles, you couldn't wear watches or big earrings, they gave you straps for your sunglasses and hat - you had to take a breathalyzer test too!
Great views, and although my husband was a little nervous about the height, it was such a unique experience.May 12, 2025
