My son graduated college in May but had been living in the dorm up until March when they closed and he moved back home. He moved out to his first apartment in June and now has a girlfriend so I really never see him So I am a new empty nester! Luckily he lives about 20 minutes away or 30 minutes in traffic. He is very smitten with the new girlfriend so maybe I will be seeing grandkids in my future....fingers crossed!!

We have been empty nesters for many years. Most of the 20 years in South Florida we were alone but several of the kids spent long visits or moved back in for awhile during a life transition.
